If you think that you have found a meteorite on the ground after reports of a large fireball over the UK:
(1) Read through this guide to find out what meteorites look like.
(2) If you think that you have found a meteorite, the first step is to take some photos of the rock, ideally well lit and with a scale or ruler in the photo. Please try not to touch the rock with bare hands (see below).
(3) Attempt to collect the rock using the following guidance.
(4) Finally, report your UK find to UKFAll using the Contact Us page.
